This table is very sturdy and versatile. You can use it as a side table or lay it down for more table top space. Its also just the right height for you to use as a laptop or dining table over your lap while sitting on the matching patio set. I think the height of the table when laid down the long way would also work as an ottoman if you throw a pillow on top because it sits at the same height at the chairs.
